Miriam Sánchez Moreiras
Biography
Miriam Sánchez-Moreiras is an International Award Winning Author of children’s books, short stories and poetry. Some of her awards include the Spanish National Award and the White Raven Award. Miriam was born in Vigo, Spain. Her love for literature started very early, thanks to the fantastic stories that her grandfather used to tell, and the novels wisely chosen by her mother. She has a BA in Spanish Philology from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and completed a PhD in Spanish Contemporary Literature at the University of Colorado´s Boulder campus. She currently lives with her husband in Boulder.
