Emma Sydney

Biography

Emma Sydney is my alter ego as I also write children's books under my real name. A pen name was essential to avoid confusion! I love erotica and tend to lean toward the more romantic side of the genre. Hope you enjoy my stories.

Smashwords Interview

How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I search through Amazon and Smashwords 3-4 times a week looking for paranormal erotica which is my favorite. Also I check out new authors on Twitter. If I see a free read come across Twitter or Facebook I will usually download and review. On Facebook I pay attention to what other authors read and recommend.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was "Circling the Heart" which is a young teen story involving Calypso and Circe from mythology. The series is called Daughters of Calypso Deep and is published under Patricia Nunemaker. The second story "Circling the Fire" is the most current story available at this time. I must stress that these are not erotic stories and that is why I created the pen name Emma Sydney.

Smashwords book reviews by Emma Sydney

  • Tilly and Elmer Go to Las Vegas on Feb. 23, 2014

Funny sex story involving the "older" generation! A must read for us 50 something's! Gives me hope!
  • Horn (Half-Human) on Feb. 23, 2014

Love the fantasy and the way the author describe sex scenes. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick, fun read!
  • The Motorcycle Ride, Chapter One: Simone Park on Feb. 23, 2014

Good story but needs more of an ending. Some kind of resolution or continuing storyline. Just seems to end too abruptly.
  • Tales Of Intrigue: Wrongly Accused and Abducted on Feb. 25, 2014

Graphic and hardcore! If you are looking for romance, not the one for you. Would think men would be better reviewer of this series than women. Just my opinion.
  • The Quicky on Feb. 25, 2014

Extremely short story with little plot. Would like it better if action was slowed a bit and more character development.
  • High Priestess of Pleasure on March 03, 2014

Love the storyline! An entertaining read!
