Biography

Penelope Seiffert vive con la sua famiglia in Umbria, in un borgo vicino Perugia. Qui possiede molti animali domestici, compresi i 12 gatti di cui racconta le gesta nella serie "Quella dozzina di gatti divertenti".
Le marachelle che combinano e le pose buffe che spesso assumono, l’hanno spinta a realizzare la sua prima serie di pubblicazioni per bambini. I tanti anni di convivenza, hanno fatto si che per ogni gatto si delineasse un personaggio, grazie alle peculiarità e alle carattere di ciascuno. I suoi libri contengono soprattutto foto di gatti e le loro avventure, che Penelope rappresenta con l’aggiunta di qualche effetto cartoon.
Oltre al lavoro, Penelope e il marito si occupano di volontariato in favore degli animali randagi e abbandonati.
