Mayne Attraction: In The Spotlight on Nov. 18, 2010

Your inner 16 year old will be entranced. Mauren hit the nail on the head with how it felt, er... feels to be a teen in love and in transition to adulthood. The main character was totally relatable, despite her very unique circumstances. All of the romance with none of the tawdry sex found in much of the YA lit out there. That makes it good clean fun for everyone. I look forward to the 2 follow ups "In the Smoke" and "In the Shadows."

Having read Spotlight, I'm quite certain there is a lot more to Ellery Mayne then her own perspective would lead us to believe. I cannot wait to read In the Shadows.
