Biography
New Zealand is my native country. Although I was born in Christchurch, in the South Island, now I reside in the heart of Northland (in Māori: Te Tai Tokerau; it is the northernmost region in North Island). I live in a serene valley with her mountain, her trees, her streams and green fields, that capture, heal, calm and enchant me. I am a quiet reflective person. I enjoy motorcycle riding, fishing, painting and gardening. I am married to a good man who loves me. Poetry is carved deep in my soul and keeps me breathing on a healing journey. My career, nursing, has greatly influenced my pen, sharing her ink with my past. I write dark poetry. Oftentimes my muse writes itself such as "Spirit Drifts", for I do not believe in capital punishment. My poetry slips in the shoes and reflects from the eyes of other people’s lives, their experiences and beliefs.
