The Killers

The orders were simple: rescue Peters or eliminate him! The S.O.E. operative was in the hands of the Gestapo. And if they knew he had the names of every Polish resistance fighter, they would torture him to give up that list. Summer, 1940. Britain stands against the Nazi forces gathering across the Channel. Invasion seems imminent. Its leader John Standish believes a surprise attack on the United States by Japan is in preparation. Andy Ballantine is The Killers’ man in Tokyo and his mission is to find a chink in Japanese security.

Firmly under oppressive Nazi rule, the leaders of the exiled Czechoslovakian government appeal for Allied help. John Standish and his deadly Killer commandoes spring into action where war is at its dirtiest. They find the resistance on the brink of planning the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, one of the most hated Nazis of all time. If such a plan should succeed, Hitler's wrath will be awful.
