I really liked this short story, which deals with themes of death and spirituality in a very entertaining, believable manner. Even though it is very short, it has not skimped on any details as it makes its points well, and has an unexpected ending.

Thanks for the read. Was his nickname of his kids "E squared" a play on words since he is the more logical/science-based/non-religious type? I thought that was clever

Nice short story. One does wonder what there may be after we pass... if anything.

Read all your stories last night. Once I finished one, I had to read the others.
I'm writing all the reviews now...
This was well done - sad but not maudlin.
Nicely written in such a short story.

I was surprised you killed off the kids. Didn't think that was where the story plot was going. Great ending thoguh.
