Reviews of A Holiday to Remember

by
Candy Wright didn't become a high-powered Manhattan business executive by letting men walk all over her. Mitch Johnson lives a simple life in rural Georgia. When the two are thrown together in a freak snowstorm, sparks fly. Will love thaw their frozen hearts, or will secrets tear them apart? One thing is certain; it will be a holiday to remember.

I really enjoyed this story. I thought all the ladies did a great job writing together.

A light romantic read with some very likeable characters, especially Major. The various authors worked well together. I felt the ending was a little rushed and Mitch's explanation was somewhat lacking. I expected it to be more laced with pain. That said, I did enjoy the story and would read more books by the Roses of Prose.

It's a typical heart warming romance, a bit dissappointed by the actual revelation but generally well written.

I tried reading the book, even playing around with the font size, but the sentences were too close together for me to read comfortably. I thought it might have been because I was reading on an Android - being used to a Kindle - but that theory fell apart when subsequent titles I checked had the traditional spacing between sentences. Perhaps it could have been the font the book was published in - I really can't say - but I couldn't read past the first three sentences.
