So nice for my home schooled children to read about other home schooled children! Wonderful, exciting, real stories.

In an age when the majority of children's books are in the fantasy genre, what a delight to join the adventures of a real family having fun and hilarity in life's daily happenings. Like everyone else we know who has read it, our family couldn't wait for each instalment. The Barn Chronicles are perfect gifts for anyone with kids.

A modern-day "Little House on the Prairies" - and every bit as charming as that classic. My daughter was just spellbound by this and the second book in the series. Though they were family read-alouds she kept sneaking off with them to read ahead. Can't wait to get our hands on the third book. In an era where wholesome, fun children's novels are increasingly hard to come by, this series is a gem.

This is such a wonderful family reading time book! Just makes you want to get cozy by the fire with your kids. Positive values and has inspired my kids to create their own fun and to love one another. Can't say enough good things about it!

Wow! This book is a must-have if you like adventure, fun, comedy, drama, families, or animals! You can't go wrong with this one. Superb writing + awesome stories = I know why this book is award-winning! Five stars.
P.S. The other books are just as tantalisingly good!
