Caroline Gebbie

Biography

I love horror, gruesome, creepy real horror that clenches your stomach and makes you look beneath the bed and inside the cupboard before you switch off the light at nights. I grew up on James Herbert and books such as The Rats started an obsession with stories that has continued throughout my life. Now I love authors like Matt Shaw, Jeff Menapace and other new writers that are pushing boundaries and giving us the scares that keep the imagination ticking over.

I live in the United Kingdom, South Yorkshire with 2 white boxers, and a husband who inspires me with new ideas and encourages my writing.

This is a true short story that will raise the hairs on your neck and put a tingle down your spine. One night when driving all alone in a borrowed van through a remote wooded landscape I felt the sting of breath on the back of my neck.
