I came into a revelation of grace through an open vision in 2007 in which I was instructed by the Lord Jesus to “open the windows and doors of My house”. He subsequently told me exactly how to do this. “Preach the New Covenant”, He said.
Today I’m a bi-vocational pastor, husband and a father. I divide my time between my pottery studio and the leadership of the eldership team of the Highway Community Church in East London, South Africa (an autonomous local church with strong relationships to a number of other grace-based congregations).
I've most recently added to this CV author, blogger and occasional podcaster.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have a burning passion to get the Good News of the Gospel shared far and wide and in every way possible. Indie publishing is one of the primary channels available for me to use.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has provided a wide open door for me to pursue my vision.
Christianity can be very confusing. There are such varied opinions and approaches. It all just seems so complicated. But Jesus, the faith’s founder, declared it to be simple. He is on record saying that even children can understand spiritual things.
Jesus is right! Christianity is simple and straight forward. This series cuts through the trappings and trimmings that complicate and confuse. If you want to put the peripheral into perspective and have the main thing as the main thing, The NOT CONFUSED Series is for you!
Living in the will of God is the application of the New Covenant in our day to day lives. This book is full of well illustrated and very practical instruction on how to do just that. The will of God is the will of God for all of His children, and you too can confidently live in it.
The Gospel is the good news about who Jesus is, what He did, and why He did it. What He did was so extraordinary, and its impact so enormous, that it will effect everything for all time. This book describes the richness of the Gospel, and outlines what the Gospel does when believed, for the Gospel believed is the power of God unleashed in one’s life.
The Bible documents seven covenants or contracts. Terms and conditions apply. Anyone not clear on which contract applies to them, why, and how, will inevitably be confused regarding what Christianity is all about.
