Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Siteki, ESwatini. I also had a fair share of living in Barberton, South Africa. 'Tinyembeti' moves between the two countries. Some of the things I learnt during this time are hinted in the story.
When did you first start writing?
2005 after I had finished my Secondary Teachers' Diploma. I started with short stories in English.
