Karlene Pitters

Biography

Karlene discovered writing when she was a student at Lehman College in the Bronx. She went back to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA in 2005. She was always very creative as a child and used to have the wildest imagination. She used to daydream in class about stories and didn't realize until years later that it was her creative mind telling her to write. She is now working on a New Adult Romance series. There are a lot of exciting things in the works for Ms. Pitters. She currently works at the NYC Department of Education and her son goes to Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Now that her son is off to college it will give her more time to focus on writing full time. You can follow her on Social Media.

What do you read for pleasure?
My favorite books are romance novels, inspirational stories, suspense and thrillers. John Grishman is one of my favorite authors.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
The nook but I use my smart phone and LG Tablet. The kindle app and playbooks are downloaded on all three devices.
