Izak Culls

Biography

Izak Culls spent years around the dead and dying as an emergency room technician and most recently as a hospital morgue technician. He was also raised in a conservative, religious home. His questions about death, life, and the possibility of life after death were never satisfied by the generally confusing answers he was given. This all changed at the end of 2022.
Cara Ishtar had simple answers that made sense. She asked him to help her publish her memoir of the events that gave her the answers. Izak agreed and no longer has any doubts or questions. You won't find the truth without looking for it.

Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

I lived in Millbrae California, Austin Texas, Ogden Utah, and Mexico City, Mexico. Moving around helped me broaden my view of the world, cultures, and people. It taught me to keep an open mind about experiences. It also taught me to look at issues or questions from multiple angles. The moment we shut ourselves down to learning and knowledge is the moment we prevent our own growth.

When did you first start writing?

I have always loved writing, but it was all for myself. I didn't think I had anything that anyone else would be interested. This changed when Cara talked to me about the experiences that provided her with answers to questions that I've struggled with for decades. I suddenly had something worth sharing. I'm a pretty private person, so publishing a book (even a small book like this) took me out of my comfort zone. But what we're sharing is something fantastic.
