What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I find the most joy in writing when I can let go of reality and let the story unfold itself. When the characters take on a life of their own, and I, the author, don't get to determine how they will behave -- that's when I know the writing has truly immersed itself into a captivating tale. The ultimate joy in life is creating life, and so, when my characters control the world I put them in, I feel that happiness.
What do your fans mean to you?
I love my fans. Without them, I would feel my writing is sent into the void of the Internet, lost forever. That they read and enjoy my writing, my artwork, brings me the greatest feeling of appreciation. I love giving them short stories that take them away from their world for a time, which we all need.
