When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on--everything from magazines to the latest Young Adult fiction. I spend way too much time on social media (Facebook and Twitter are my favorites), and I love watching sports. I also love hanging out with my husband and cat watching movies.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in grade school, and I was a creative writing major for a while in college. I'd always give up creative writing for a while and then come back to it. For example, in my twenties, I was working on a graduate degree and writing mostly academic papers and articles. By my early thirties, I was getting burned out on academic writing and needed to refocus my brain, so to speak. So, I turned to creative writing to help my academic writing, and now I find I can't give up creative writing and go back.
