Biography

I was born in Austin TX where I graduated from Austin High School and attended the University of Texas. I am married and have three sons. I've written the lyrics to over ninety country western songs, have written several mysteries, scores of children's books and a lot of poetry. When we moved to Nevada, I decided that it was time to get serious and get published. My hobbies are traveling, horseback riding and swimming. My husband and I live on seven acres with two dogs and two horses with a spectacular view of the mountains.

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes, I remember reading and quoting poetry with my Dad and older brother. In first grade I carried a book in my back pocket by Robert W. Service. I was inspired to read because his writings were fun. It was something special that I shared with my loved ones.
How do you approach cover design?
I look for something unique that draws the attention to the readers.
