Biography

C. F. Francis is a native Floridian. Born in Tampa and raised on the Gold Coast of Florida, she has lived in paradise for most of her life. She loves mystery, suspense and romance and enjoys mixing them up with the tropical heat of South Florida. She considers herself honored to have friends who have served in the military (including Special Forces and Intelligence) who she can rely on for information and ideas. Currently, Ms. Francis lives in Southwest Florida where Sanctuary Island takes place.

What is your e-reading device of choice?
Believe it or not, I'm still partial to my old Nook. I guess I just got use to the weight of the thing. Makes a good weapon, too. I also read on my smart phone as well as my iPad.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love romantic suspense! Alpha male with a protective side. Strong female lead who can take care of herself. A mystery to be solved. There needs to be some tension between the two but also a strong attraction...and a happy ending. If we can't have a happy ending in a romance then all that romance is wasted. Right?
