Biography

Gordon Grice’s horror stories have appeared in Vestal Review (a story nominated for the Pushcart Prize and reprinted in the Best of the ‘Net Anthology) and ChiZine (listed among the honorable mentions in Ellen Datlow’s Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror 2006), among others. His disgustingly detailed knowledge of insects is on display in Unleashed: Monsters vs. Zombies (Stitched Smile Publications). His nonfiction books include The Red Hourglass: Lives of the Predators and The Book of Deadly Animals. His articles have appeared in The New Yorker (an article on the dissection of criminals), Harper’s (black widow spiders), and Discover (armadillos with leprosy).
