Dr. Jane J. Jenkins is a master storyteller, mother and grandmother, and lives in Aspen, Colorado with her husband, Jim. In the 1970s, Dr. Jane created the PBS series The Magic Teapot, and is the author of The Little Fir Tree, a true story written for children with special needs. Dr. Jane lectures on the value of storytelling and the art of teaching reading, and she currently conducts story hours in many, many places.
Janet W. Grenda, the illustrator of the Harry Hamster books, is an artist, teacher, mother, grandmother, and animal and flower lover. She lives in Snowmass, Colorado with her husband, Ted where they ski, swim and smile.
