Space 51

I was pleasantly surprised to be enthralled in to this book. I am not usually one to read about aliens, but this book was not so super technical in description that it lost my attention. It was the complete opposite, and I was immediately in to the story. Aliens have attacked a base. To add to the complexity, Ava, the main character has to make it through a supernatural world. It reminds me of the real world where fear has taken over and everyone is so focused on being scared that they do not focus on the real issue. It's a good read and a good page turner.

This book took a few pages to get more in to it, but I am glad I continued reading. Read Space 51 first so then you can get some of the items without having to read it twice. The aliens are more fierce in this book than in Space 51. Ava seems more confident, but still trying to figure it out along the way. Of course, I guess I'd be the same way. Canada being thrown in was a bit of a surprise, but I liked it. I like how more work together in this book - as in the real world, we are all concerned about race and that's not why we're here. Love it. Great read.
