Marie Therese Shelly

Biography

Marie Therese Shelly, fondly referred to as Sister Mary Theresa by some, is a title she finds hilarious because her spirituality is disguised by a sense of humor and a grounded Irish earthiness. A child of the seventies, Marie Therese's heritage makes her young enough to appreciate the stresses and strains of modern living and old enough to remember the spiritual healing ways of her Irish ancestors.

Her experience and qualifications in psychology, nursing, midwifery, education and reflexology have humbled her into realizing that she does not, cannot or will not have all the answers. But what Marie Therese does have is a deep understanding of the mystery of it all and the ability to get that message across in humorous, gentle, non-judgmental ways, which she has been doing for the past two and a half decades with the Galway Institute of Wellbeing and Reflexology. Marie Therese's latest venture "The Lazy Guide Books" consists of a series of books which will encourage readers to ponder on their life's journey and develop a healthier, happier lifestyle without any strenuous stressful effort.
