Biography
Leo Ostapiv, CFO/Partner in the mobile development company Stanfy, Home Finances and Mobile apps expert, the Author of the book “Home Finances for Couples” and the blog www.homefinances.info
Leo started my financial career as an auditor in Deloitte & Touche in 2005. Since then, he has worked in different positions related to corporate financial management. Currently, he is CFO of the mobile software company “Stanfy” in Kyiv, Ukraine, and an independent consultant on managerial finance for small businesses.
Leo got the bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kyiv-Mohyla University (Ukraine) in 2003, and finished his self-financed MBA in 2011. Also, he passed all exams given by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), a global body for professional accountants, and qualified for their membership in 2009.
Leo’s home finances journey began by recording all his expenses in Microsoft Excel in 2008. The underlying reason was to discover why he had a decent salary, modest lifestyle and yet neither assets nor savings. Over the years, Leo developed an advanced system with the usage of online financial software and regular financial health checks. He invented tricks and techniques to make managing personal money as easy as possible.
