What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've never been one to go around begging people to publish my work. In junior-high and high school, I published several booklets of my poetry using the library copy machine and a stapler. I'd work to fit as much as possible on one or two sheets of paper (5 cents a copy), then fold, cut, and staple the work into books.
I have always been an "indie author" and probably always will be.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords offers a new set of customers that only offering work through Amazon completely misses.
