Biography

Rajiv Sharma MD is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist currently in private practice. He is member of numerous scientific societies as well as author of multiple scientific articles. He frequently gives guest lectures on various medical topics. Dr.Sharma believes in “whole person care” and the affect of mind, body and spirit on “wellness”. He attended Loma Linda University Medical Center for his Internal Medicine training. The city of Loma Linda has one of the longest life expectancies in the world (one of the blue zones). This inspired Dr.Sharma towards his mission is to promote a healthy way of life. Dr.Sharma has special interest in Nutrition & Exercise and believes that “Food is Medicine”. He prides himself to be a “fact doctor” as he backs his opinions and works with solid scientific research while aiming to deliver a simple and clear message. His recent book named “Pursuit of Gut Happiness” (Amazon and Barnes & Noble) explores the role of Probiotics and Gut Microbiome to achieve optimal health. Dr.Sharma also performs overseas charity work in India where he supports underpriveleged women’s education and care & education for underpriveleged handicapped children.
