I was born in Wales and moved to Canada as a teenager. I have always loved to write letters and keep in touch with family and friends. Now I am older, and hopefully a little wiser, my experiences along the way have given me many opportunities to learn from mistakes and remember victories.
I love children very much and I started writing books for those too.
What is your writing process?
I love to share my heartfelt love and knowledge to others hoping it will somehow be used to bring peace and hope to those searching for something real in their lives.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I ever read as a child was called "If Jesus Came to My House". It seemed very real and made me feel happy. The illustration was beautiful.
It all started while Dylan was out on his usual wanderings on a warm sunny day. He always wanted to be a witness to something special and thought this would be just another of the many he had encountered in the past. But would this actually be the best one of all?
It is my intention that some of the instances of times in my life when I have experienced hurtful emotional and physical pain, that somehow one of them may be an instrument of help and healing to the reader.
With every form of control in our lives comes a great responsibility that we are not always ready to accept. Just when we think that doing it “my way” is the perfect solution, it can backfire into a terrible consequence of regret.
This is a true story of a change in my future when I found out I had Ovarian Cancer over twenty years ago. It is my hope that this little book will be a great encouragement of wisdom, hope and love for all those going through a similar time and who graciously take the time to read it.
During my seventy odd years, I have discovered a very important task that if ignored, could definitely result in being too late. I also know now that I can be too late as well by not conveying this knowledge to you while you still have time to read it.
I have found that the journey of life is full of ups and downs with many aspects of joy, pain, hope, and frustrations as we journey through the multiple decisions and consequences that follow. How we handle those hills and valleys is as unique as life itself.
Maybe my story will give insight to many mistakes and perhaps even provide a chance to glean some wisdom from the victories.
