Biography

Shawn was born in Fairfiled, CA in 1971. As an avid fantasy reader, Shawn had attempted to develop a fantasy story of his own for several decades before finally finishing his first novel, Onyx Dragon.
He now lives in Indiana, where he works as a freelance artist, musician, web designer and electrician.

What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Kindle paperwhite, which I like because it looks like a real book, more or less.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
It used to be Facebook when I first started actually writing. I gained over 100 followers on my author just posting little snippets and creating anticipation. Once Onyx Dragon was published, my followers went up to 700+. But when Facebook changed things, I'm lucky that even those who follow my page see my posts.
