Evolutionary Psychology, as a specialization, has changed my life. It has provided a powerful foundation and framework for understanding human nature, motivation, desire, sexuality, and much much more. Trying to understand sexuality outside of evolution is similar to studying mathematics without numbers. The course, Evolutionary Psychology - PSYC 385, originated at Simon Fraser University under the creative genius Dr. Charles Crawford. Note, this was before the field even existed of which he was one of the foremost creators and original theorists. He took me under his wing as a graduate student and involved me in teaching this highly controversial and powerhouse course! Eventually, PSYCH 385 became the most successful undergraduate course boasting waitlists of over 300 students - the word was out! Since then, life has never been the same! The field has both revolutionized and unified psychology as a discipline, not unlike how evolutionary biology unified the once disparate areas of the biological sciences.

Otherwise, I have been a long time original / recording musical artistic and toured North America extensively. My musical ventures have ranged from classical heavy metal, hard rock, country, and my recent tribute to 1950's jump, jive, and rock n roll. I created and hosted "The Relationship Show" on Vancouver radio. I incorporated my work as a marital therapist, evolutionary psychologist, and counseling / clinical psychologist into a lively and entertaining caller-based talk show!
