A long time ago in 1943, a child was born to a fisherman and his wife. The family consisted of the mother, father and three daughters. A small boy had died at five years old. The times were tough but they carried on and Marlee Sweet, the youngest of the children was born on a stormy, hurricane night. The story begins with Marlee as a twenty-year old young woman, unsettled in her life. Her journey is the basis of the Dream Series, which takes her through her young life until she is much older. The coming of age for Marlee was turbulent at times and wonderful at times, much like a lot of lives. But, Marlee’s travels and adventures led to much destruction in the matters of the heart. Life moves on to Marlee’s children and two countries are crisscrossed at times. It is a journey of life, love, disappointment and in the end, a belief that all life ends in the afterglow of love.
