Joseph Giampapa

Biography

JOSEPH GIAMPAPA is a Self Empowerment Specialist. What he does works…and works well!

Coming from a large Italian family and raised in the suburbs of Chicago provided a storehouse of wonderful experiences for Joseph to relay to audiences as he began his career as a "Stand Up Comedian", often working with the Red Cross Entertainment Services going out to military hospitals to entertain the troops.

While in Europe he wrote, directed and produced various "Road Shows" for our servicemen. These skills he carried back to the states where in became a teacher. Having advanced degrees in Communication, Theater and Sociology were more than a bonus for his students who learned by becoming "involved" through such projects as burying a "Time Capsule" in front of City Hall, and assisting with supplying a new school in the Philippines through the Peace Corps.

Maintaining a Private Practice for adults and "kids at risk" put Mr. Giampapa in the forefront of educators known for innovative programs. He holds titles in three countries, and has been labeled a leader in the field of "interpersonal communications" which led to one of his programs being reviewed by White House staff for future programming for children. He espouses the philosophy that "each one of us was meant to be a 'special someone' among us."

The Entertainment Industries Council "Speakers Bureau Roster of Celebrities" added Joseph Giampapa to its prestigious roster. (Board members, past and present, include the likes of Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball, Tim Conway, and many others.) Listed among his titles: Professor, Playwright, Director, Producer and Author.
It’s not uncommon for standing ovations to take place during his speaking events and workshops. A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer stated that a Joseph Giampapa video (taped by an audience member) is The Most popular video in their library! And at a speaking engagement for "downsized executives", his seventy-five minute talk was rated the High Point of their entire eight week experience.
