What do you read for pleasure?
I read fiction and non-fiction, but it has to be a good story. Non-fiction subjects I'm interested in include mythology, ancient history, travel and psychogeography.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I don't have a dedicated e-reader yet mainly as I'm short of the money, but also as I haven't lost my love of rummaging through charity shops for cheap second-hand books. I am a writer's worst friend, as I so rarely buy new books! The last book I bought new (in hardback) was Phillip Pullman's 'La Belle Sauvage'. If I ever make money from my writing, I can use it to support fellow writers.
However, to answer the question, I do sometimes download out-of-copyright works onto my laptop, or use the Guardian app on my phone
