I'm afraid this book needs an editor, both to resolve the many mistakes in the text and to cut the story down from its current, indulgent-feeling length. Taf was a great character who really kept me reading, by far the best thing about the book, but Jorden came off poorly and that's not what you want from a main character. I'd give this story a haircut: get to meeting Taf as soon as possible, as that represents the true heart of the story. That would cut 20% of the story out but, frankly, this book was overlong. Sorry!
