This short story is a lot of fun. I've never read space westerns before, but I'll sure read more. West of the Texas Nebula (great title) is rootin' tootin' gunslinging action in an SF setting. Like I say, fun, and nicely written. But then any story with a characters called Whisky Tim and Bart Blackstar is going to be great, right?

Combining a haunted house, a cryptic treasure trail and a dark family secret, this is a gem of a story. You just know things aren't going to go to plan when James steps inside the crooked house of the title... I particularly liked the house itself; the way it creaked and groaned and leaned more and more as the story progressed. A fun read.
