This is a very atmospheric book, an example of true classic sci fi where extraterrestrial settings don't outstage human dramas. The author populates his book with some memorable and very strong characters like Canella, Captain Steward and others whose longing for knowledge and justice adds an extra dimension to the story. True to Arthur C. Clarke's realistic depiction of space travel, Oberlux is a fine story written from the heart.
