Biography

Gavin Michaels is an author living in Somewhere, USA. He is currently working on several novels. He loves dogs, working on cars, and reading his favorite authors Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, and Brent Weeks, watching anime, and, most importantly, his beautiful wife and daughter.

What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are everything, simply put. Without fans I would be just another guy putting words on paper. Reviews are precious to me because it gives the fans a chance to express how the work made them feel and also areas that need improvement. Each fan and each review make me a better writer.
What is your writing process?
Normally a character will pop into my head. Then my brain begins to put a history or future to the character, and i write it out as it comes. I let it tell itself. Once the inspiration begins to die down, I'll go back and beef it up, and fix any discrepancies, until my brain runs off with the story again.
