Regina Russell

Biography

Christian wife and mother of five, Regina Russell is a novelist, songwriter, poet, musician, motorcyclist and cat lover. She lives in London, Kentucky with her husband Jim where they enjoy working together in the jail ministry. Regina is passionate about serving God, loves to go to church, watch cooking shows and read books by Jane Austen. She studied creative writing at Eastern Kentucky University and has published four novels and one novelette and several small books of short stories.

What do your fans mean to you?
If someone chooses to pick up a book of mine and read it, I owe them a well-written, engrossing and satisfying story. It's give and take. I strive to please because the people who read my books inspire me to continue. In this french-fried world, sometimes people accept the sub-standard just because so much of it is available. But that's not what I give my fans. I honor them with the time and dedication I put into each of my books. I don't slap an ending on just because I want to get done. I respect my readers and if they are going to invest a little piece of their lives in my books, I want them to be glad they did.
What are you working on next?
I have three other novels to choose from that are already well-developed. But until I finish the one I'm 3/4 of the way through, I can't think about those waiting. So, truthfully, I'm not sure which I'm going to work on next.
