I am very excited on the road I have now chosen. I love writing I forgot how much fun it is to find an empty page and fill it up. To watch characters come to life and knowing it all came from my mind. Magic, shape shifters, dragons, wolves, alpha men and women. The endless possibilities.
I hope you enjoy my little tale and please leave a comment good or bad, be helpful.

Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the south in Arkansas youngest of six. I believe that the influence came from the fact that was was not the healthiest child and spent a lot of time reading any thing and everything I could get my hands on. I loved the escape it gave me from my real world. I would sit for hours learning about history and mythology and I just love Judy Bloom and the Boxcar Children. I would visit museums and I became fascinated with wildlife. I believe that is why my first publish story had fantasy and wildlife.
When did you first start writing?
I wrote my first story in the fourth grade. I wrote my first poem in the first grade. I have been telling stories for as long as I can remember. My mother tells me that I told her my first story when I was 4/5 something like that the story was about my previous life and how I came to be her daughter.

  • Casting on Feb. 09, 2013

I have not read the series I have only so far read this prequel. Saying that I plan to read the rest. I found this story to be about trust and finding true love. Zack has been hurt in his past and Steve has the kind nature to see past the tabloid stories and the front that Zack puts up. Steve knows that Zack needs love and kindness and someone who believes in him as a person. I smile as I read this story and was happy they found each other. Good Job.

So good read it all in one sitting! What a great way to spend a snow day. The charaters were so real and I was able to connect to them. Great book, I look forward to the next one. Please have a next one don't leave us hanging.

I really like these characters. The flow of the story is an easy read. The people are likeable and the love is there. I like the way Cady and Sam handle the "Interruption" of their night. I hope this story goes further. What going to happen to the daughter as she grows? What other adventures will Cady and Sam get up to, while trying to stay hidden and live a quiet life?

I am a little disappointed in the book after waiting so long and keeping up with series if seems as if the author has lost her passion for this line. It was short and didn't really give a lot. There was so much more that could have been done. I read the entire book in an hour.
