My name is Don Sloan. I write nonfiction books under the pen name Bill Brown.

I am a former journalist for a major city newspaper and bring those skills to researching and writing nonfiction books of all kinds.

You can always rely on the fact that my books will will be easy to read, with lots of tips, techniques, and links to help you achieve your goals, or to make you smarter on any given subject!

I live in the mountains of North Carolina with my wife of 38 years. I enjoy reading -- and writing -- good books, long naps, and a good glass of chardonnay each evening.
