When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I LOVE to hike. I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina so there's always a good trail right around the corner somewhere. My favorite hike was to a place called Secret Falls.
What is your writing process?
My process is always ever-changing. For the time being, I plot out my story loosely and then dictate the rough draft. Doing these two things has increased my daily wordcount from 2,500 words to 5,000+. It takes me two weeks (working Mon-Fri) to write the rough draft of a 50,000 word novel. Once I'm finished, I dive into revisions and personal edits. This takes about 2-3 weeks (Working Mon-Fri). It used to take me 3-4 months to finish a 50k word novel without dictation. It now takes me 5-7 weeks or 1-2 months, depending on how you look at it.
