Lynn Crandall

Biography

Lynn Crandall lives in the Midwest and writes in the company of her cat. She has been a reader and a writer all her life. Her background is in journalism, but whether writing a magazine or newspaper story or creating a romance, she loves the power stories hold to transport, inspire, and uplift. In her romances, she focuses on vulnerable, embraceable characters who don't back down.

She also has written a children's book, Invincible and Sparkly. It fallows the journey of two young girls who turn to loyalty, hope, and belief in self when confronting danger, loss, and self-doubt. It is a book of my heart.

What's the story behind your latest book?
Captured by Christmas, A Christmas Anthology was inspired by a desire to give readers a take on Christmas from a paranormal author, me, and a contemporary author, Lainee Cole. My story in the anthology, Snowbound, allowed me to get back in to my Fierce Hearts were-lynx world and write something more light-hearted than the series for the characters.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I'm published by traditional publishers, but with this book I wanted to go the direct route to readers. I like the idea of forging in to something new and hopefully finding success there. I respect indie authors for their determination and skill.
