T.C. Mill

T.C. Mill watches more BBC programming than is probably healthy, takes more books off library shelves than she can ever read (getting an eReader has not improved matters), and is currently writing her next story in a fashionable eco-friendly notebook. Or composing it in Microsoft Word with layers of Tracked Changes. Whatever works. Speaking of work, she earns her living as a freelance editor and disorganized author balancing three pennames.
With Alex Freeman, she has co-edited two anthologies of passionate, cutting-edge erotica with the New Smut Project. Her work has been published by Nerve magazine, Bust, Bright Desire, Dreamspinner, Carina, Circlet, Cleis Press & the Tempted Romance imprint, Storm Moon Press, and House of Erotica. Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Writing is only one of my jobs; I work full-time as a freelance editor, so a lot of my time is spent working on client manuscripts or doing small-business management tasks.

Or reading. When I'm not writing, I spent a lot of time buried in books. My to-read list has over 300 titles right now, but I finish about 25 a month so I'm optimistic about my ability to get through eventually. Of course, I'm always adding more titles...
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I spend a lot of time browsing GoodReads for recommendations or for shelf tags that show what I want (femdom! explicit f/f! beta heroes!). I also pick up book recs directly from authors I follow. For a while I subscribed to BookBub's weekly emails, but that wasn't healthy for my wallet...

  • San Fermin on June 22, 2015

An erotic story with literary flair! It felt like a journey to a very interesting place with some *very* interesting women.
  • The Washing Machine on Sep. 17, 2015

I really enjoyed how this piece expanded the boundaries of "sex" while being both psychologically intriguing and...um...in various ways, satisfying.
  • Size Doesn’t Matter on Sep. 17, 2015

A welcome counterbalance to the cock size inflation that grows rampant in most erotica. The concept is gold, and the execution, while it didn't inflame my soul, doesn't let it down.
  • Skateboards and Gowns on Sep. 17, 2015

This piece starts with a great image and keeps them coming. I didn't realize this was everything I wanted in an f/f romantic short until it happened, and then yes, it was.
