"...when I say Asians overachieve to get straight A's, for instance, I'm not saying every Asian specifically... Furthermore, the information in this book is not intended to offend; it is intended to change. Please finish reading this book before formulating any prejudices, in order to acquire the full grasp of my message... I see too many Asian children indoctrinated and conditioned like overachieving robots, here in the United States and in Asia. This won't stop until we all work together..." Good day Mr. Chi! watch the bollywood movie "3 Idiots" THANKS
  • Assassinating Legends Volume 1 on May 28, 2011

Quite an interesting read! But the book was rather short for a starter of a volume series, as well as the inconsistency of the characters throughout the story. Not bad...but needs some improvements.

  • They Never Saw Her Tears on July 20, 2011

I learned a lot from this book! I'm really hunting for these kind of books lately for my sociology and psychology classes about sexually abused children and on how they cope/live their lives being into that kind of environment and if they have their own children, would they be abusive too or become a better parent to them. I also read the book "I Wish I Would've" by Aynoit Ashor which has the same theme of abused children, family secrets and incest, and it really made a BIG impact in my life. It was an eye-opener. I was happy for the ending of the story! Congratulations Ms. Alderson. A job well done.

Wow! An epic read! I was very engrossed and enthusiastic by the adventures and revelations it had fed to me everyday that it made me very sad and heartbroken as I've finished reading it. Ooh...yes it was great but the ending of the story had caught me off-guard,i really didn't expect that 'that' would happen in the end. it really made me cry. i'm really very sorry for her. I never anticipated that this book was tearjerker. A fine work. A great author. Honestly I would really miss this book, i wish there would be a sequel for this. I look forward to reading more of your works in the future! Good day sir/ma'am!
