When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
There are many other things I enjoy besides writing. I think what I mainly like is music. My favorite musical genre is folk, but I don't exclude other genres. I spend a lot of time playing music, as well as singing. I also like to go to social events such as festivals and parties; that way I have a steady balance between being alone and being around a bunch of other people.
Who are your favorite authors?
There are many authors that I admire, most of whom are children's authors:
Robert Munsch
Frank Asch
E.B. White
Shel Silverstien
Dr. Suess
Richard Scarry
Peter Spier
Jasper Tomkins
Mercer Mayer
Maurice Sendak
Steven Kellogg
Eric Carle
Beverly Cleary
