Biography

I write a variety of erotic short stories focusing on mind control, humiliation, pet-play, and transformation themes. My first series of stories - "On the Leash: Petgirl Tales" - is set in an alternate universe where a mysterious man known only as Dr. Hundehersteller has plans to forever alter human society by introducing the Leash Laws. The Leash Laws allow for the humiliation, transformation, and enslavement of women foolish or unlucky enough to break them. Breaking the Leash Laws leads (perhaps unsurprisingly) to life on a leash; transformation into a petgirl slave for either a set period or for life.

Doctor Hundehersteller starts out small, enslaving and transforming women into mindlessly obedient pets in secret and in small numbers as he consolidates his power; however, his ultimate goal is a society where the ruling class (made up primarily of men) holds power over a lower class of women kept in line by the threat of forced conversion to playthings and pets.

The subject matter may be kinky and a bit "out there" for some, but my primary interest lies in writing entertaining and erotic fiction that explores power, dominance, and submission in unique ways.

What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?

Word of mouth is super-important. So many of my fans have come from across the social media spectrum, and they've often been referred by others who have shared my work or have had their work shared by me.

Actual interaction with fans is critical, too. I try to make sure I thank everyone who leaves a comment or suggestion or review, and because I also create art on sites like DeviantArt and Tumblr, I try to respond to requests in a timely manner as well. I know how frustrating it can be when you're a fan of someone or something, and you feel like you're invisible to the people or brands you've helped make so popular.

Describe your desk

Messy! I use a standing desk, with a stool for occasional sit breaks. It's usually got coffee, books, pens and paper, and assorted nicknacks, sketches, notes and bits of mail scattered all over it. I do try to leave room for the keyboard and mouse, though.
