Robert has traveled the world and met many interesting people but now lives in Bellingham, Washington with his wife and youngest child. Bellingham and the surrounding areas are often the settings for his many novels. What is your writing process?
I think that i have a unique writing style. I create my characters and a basic idea of their adventure and then I let
them tell the story. I don't outline or have a certain goal in mind for my main character just as in real life we take an unknown journey.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
My favorite books of all time is the Harry Potter series. I will sit down at least once a year and go through all the books and I am always finding something new in them. I think that these books are the pinnacle of opening up new worlds for readers and try to match my writing with that idea in mind.
