I've read thousands of books in my life, but I rate all of Lars Emmerich's books at the top of my list. He writes as well, or even better than Ludlum and others to whom he is compared.

I highly recommend this short story for anyone concerned about the direction the government is taking, and how measures to rectify it may be taken.

DESCENT: A Noir Thriller Starring Peter Kittredge

Lars has done it again! Balls Deep'd major character is a minor player in the book "The Incident." Though you don't need to read "The Incident" to understand where Peter Kitteridge is coming from, it helps - and it won't break your bank to buy "The Incident" for $2.99 for hours of excellent adventure, and spies, and political baddies. It rolls along like "The Incident", with surprises around every turn - you can't predict where Lars' mind is going at all. I highly recommend this book, I couldn't stop reading it last night, though I had to get up early in the morning. It's a steal at $1.49! Get it!

The author thinks he's so cute and funny writing this absurdity. This short story is meant only to vilify, with no other motive, without any literary value. One can imagine the venom dripping from the author's mouth as he wrote this.

i have read the authorized translation of the Koran by Youssef Ali, and it is nothing like this translation. This version steps neatly around the more hateful portions of the Koran, and appears to make the whole import and attitude of the Koran as benevolent toward unbelievers. Be careful when reading this, and read it with a skeptical eye. Consult other sources and translations, read the Hadiths and Tafsir, before making up your mind.
