Alessandra K. Gallagher is an Australian fantasy author, poet, and artist.
A finalist of the Cowley Literary Award 2013 for "The Widow's Wail" (what has she done lately?), Alessandra is the author of the Godless Book Series, an epic fantasy series predicted to span 7 novels. She is currently writing a dystopian novel - "The Lesser", due for release in late 2021 if she stops procrastinating and gets on with it. A writer from an early age, Alessandra’s influences include the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, the Iliad, and T.S. Elliot, and the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, George Orwell, and C. S. Lewis.
In the third instalment of the Godless Book Series, ELIANNA ARAVELO fights against the dark forces threatening to bring ruin upon the Empire of Oriánna as she continues her quest to reunite all the Elder Stone Guardians. But the demands of a romantic attachment to LUTHANDO comes under scrutiny as she battles the shadow fallen over her heart and resists a new and strange power at her command.

A sonnet for the departed - an excerpt from the fantasy series "GODLESS" - Book III (unpublished). A moving moment exchanged between a resident of the underworld and Elianna.
A fictional finalist of the Cowley Literary Award 2013, this short story intimately follows the Journey of Sarah Riley as she confronts life as a young widow. A moving and intense short story about the tragic heartache of loss and the acceptance of mortality.
