Biography

Cindy C Bennett is the bestselling young adult author of several books. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. When she's not writing (or any of the many activities that go hand-in-hand with that) you might find her watching classic movies, listening to old radio shows, or renovating her home with the love of her life. She happens to adore her readers, and is grateful to them for reading her work and giving her the chance to do this thing that she is so very passionate about. Yup, she's living the dream!

When did you first start writing?
I can't remember a time when I wasn't writing. It seems I always have. My sister found a story I'd written when I was about 11 - a love story, no less. While it's poorly written with a less-than-stellar plot line, it's proof that even before I knew how to write, I had a passion for it.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
When I first became an indie author, it was a fairly new concept. I really didn't know what I was doing, but I was impatient to get my book out there for the world to see, and indie was the way to do that. I've since been published both indie and traditionally. There are pros and cons to both, but my heart will always be an indie author's heart.
