The Itinerant
by Elizabeth Engstrom
Left without parents in a post-apocalyptic world, fifteen-year-old Parker tries to provide for himself and his little sister, but he faces obstacles even more challenging than merely finding food. In this lawless non-society, Parker navigates criminals, despots, and desperados, while trying to make, or find, a place to call home. Along the way, he discovers a gift that he never knew he had.
