Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
Young, apparently. Even younger than I originally thought. My cousin recently produced a poem from only-God-knows-where and shared it on Facebook. I must've been 9 or so when I wrote it.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I wanted to reveal more about the villain and his past in the third installment, so I had to figure out who was best equipped to narrate and reveal that tale--apart from the villain himself, of course. It turned out that Brinkley, a veteran detective, was the best candidate so I let him take center stage this time around. Voila! Book 3, Dying for Her, was born.
